At Living Metal we manufacture seven styles of Parkland / Estate Fencing and carry these in stock. We are also more than happy to manufacture to your own requirements if matching new to old. We have supplied customers all over the UK and Ireland, the majority of whom have asked us to install the fencing. We carry out site visits, if required, to measure and offer advice on our various options.

Here at Living Metal we use a good quality heavy duty mild steel, all holes and slots are then punched out in the vertical bars, allowing the horizontal bars to pass through, with all joints then to be fully welded. In the case of the continuous style, there is the option of wedges being used as well as being welded.

Our products can be supplied either natural (un-coated) or with a variety of finishes.
> Spray painted, with a high anti-corrosive zinc primer, plus top coat
> Galvanized only
> Galvanized, T Washed, base primer coating, under coating & top coat
> Powder coated after sand blasting
> Sand blasting prior to painting

Continuous Estate Railings
We not only manufacture the fencing in Panels but also in the Traditional Continuous style. This is put together in 6m lengths and assembled on site fixed using collars and wedges. This process allows us to take into account ground contours and also add sweeping bends to any degree. We supply the vertical bars with lower bolt holes in for attaching a twisted foot as and when required.

Panel Style Estate Railings
Manufactured in two sizes 2.4 and 3.6 lengths, this option is fabricated with all joints fully welded. We can make extra’s in alternative lengths to fill gaps, follow the ground levels, construct radius, insert matching gates including kissing gates, Foot Styles, basically anything you require. If you are looking to install the fencing where the ground level changes, we always recommend a site visit allowing us to manufacture the panels to take into account any variations, providing a perfect finish. We also carry out site surveys to ensure that the fencing supplied is ideally suited to its application.

Deer Park Fencing
Fencing for deer parks can be fabricated either in the form of panels, or the continuous style. The external height is normally 1.8 to 2 metres with approximately 550mm below ground. Back support bars can be supplied if required, alternatively, we recommend a 100 x 100mm post at regular intervals. Where welded panels are to be used, these would come in a maximum of 2 metre lengths due to the handling weight. We can match to any old style fencing; however in certain cases the cast iron can prove to be very expensive. We always ensure the correct methods and materials are provided at the most reasonable of prices.

Post & Caps
With all types of fencing we offer a selection of posts to suit, either round or square, with a cap, solid balls or finials. Where matching to existing fencing, we offer the option of a casting to resemble the original design.

Optional Extras

Where fencing for livestock, we can offer brackets that run along the top rail to prevent cattle from rubbing on the railings, and we do recommend all verticals to be set in concrete.

> Stand off brackets for barbed wire
> Stand off brackets for electric fencing
> Twisted feet for bolting to the verticals below ground level
> Back stays
> Spacers to place between posts and panels, which are standard, or    specially cast
