When selecting a gate design, it is important to plan for the future , should automation not currently be required at this time. Here at Living metal, we fabricate gates that can be easily adapted for automating at a later date. With foresight there can be a substantial saving, both in time and cost, when commissioning a system with ourselves.

With our system, we carry out most of the wiring within our workshop, thus saving time both in travelling and time on site, which means we only need to lay a supply cable, together with any other service cables, such as coax for intercom etc. Additional savings can be made with the installation of solar power, together with a battery
back-up system. This is a particularly interesting option, where gates are situated over a long distance from the main electric supply.
Where required we can trench out with our light weight machine to lay the main supply, and any additional service cables, such as coax for intercom and lighting etc. Once the gates have been installed, and the system plugged in at the gate control box, all that is left is for the main connection to be made, by an approved electrician, and the gates are ready to be fully commissioned.

Once the guarantee has expired you can take up a yearly check which will help keep your system in full working order. All installations and contracts are carried out by fully trained engineers.
